  1. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers. We get some nasty tornadoes up here but nothing like Irma. Hugs and Wags.

    1. Right now we are staying cause we are in NE FL but if the track shifts at all more inland up here we are outa here cause it will be a CAT 3 when it gets up here. The problem is the interstates are packed already so we will have to do some fancy navigating to get to TN. Praying all of your family in Miami & Plantation are safe.

  10. Take care and be safe. I'm not exactly sure where you live. Irma is supposed to come right over us in Upstate SC Monday Evening/Tuesday.

    1. Thank you we live in NE FL but south & more inland then Jacksonville. We are supposed to get CAT 1 winds & rain. Plus we have a lovely Nor'easter that started yesterday and we are having 30 mph winds and pouring rain today from that as well.

  12. We are okay! Had a huge oak fall in our yard missing our house by only a few feet which was pretty scary. Some of our fence fell and some shingles flew off into the yard and some are still laying on our neighbors house. We made out well compared to most in our area and we only lost power for 2 days.

We live near the Black Creek and the St. Johns River so if you have watched the news this week we were on it a lot. Our house is high and dry but our community is surrounded by black creek so a lot of bridges were closed and houses were flooded up to their roofs. The pictures are simply heartbreaking of the flooded homes and we have all been very sad for the these families some of which we know personally. Both of the animal shelters flooded as well and all the animals had to be evacuated with a quickness. Please be in prayer for all of them as they pick up the pieces and rebuild their homes. Also please be in prayer for the emergency personnel and lineman trying to get us all back to some form of normalcy. Please keep our Aunt & Uncle in your thoughts since they are being told they might not get power back til the beginning of October because their power lines are under water at the moment and the lake they live near has not started receding yet :'( We have family from the panhandle all the way down to south FL so really all of Florida could use lots of prayers we have a long road ahead of us.
