I Was Hissin’ & A Bitin’

So there I was this mornin’ lookin like a pretty pretty princess…

Maybe a tiny grouchy pretty pretty princess but I had just woke up from my kitty nap.

When all of the sudden I am pawtesting in the car in my kitty crate…

What the fluff Mama!!!!

I smelled a dogtor visit in my immediate future and I was not havin’ it!!

I was good for 1.5 seconds

Then I gots reals mad and started hissing at effuryone!

I tried to become one with the wall, hide in mama’s hair and hide under the chair.

The dogtor came in and had to pry me out from under da chair and then I started showing hers lots of teefies and hissin’ a whole bunches! I even tried to bite the vet tech…

The vet was laughing cause hers nose Mama real well and nose how much of a brats I can be. I did not find any of this funny what so efur!!

She could only give me my shots and said as far as the physical exam went that my teef looked great cause I was showing her those lots…MOL MOL MOL

Mama was so embarrassed buts as soon as we got back to the car I fell fast asleep and have resumed being a pretty pretty princess!! Princess

xoxo,

Matilda

Mama note:

Tilda started this behavior at her last annual check up and then this one before that she might hiss a tiny bit but that was it. I have never had a cat act like this at the vet. Anyone else's cat flip out at the vet??

  2. First of all, that wasn't very nice to do to a princess....

One of our cousin cats had to be taken into the Vet screaming, growling and fighting in a PILLOW CASE, they didn't have a crate. There was No waiting in the waiting room..they got to go straight in. MOL!

  5. Good to know your teeth are fine. No, all my cats are good at the vet. They sing the song of their people all the way there, but they are nice to the vet and techs.

  7. We have never had a cat but once - when Angel Greta was just a little pup, she put a gash in the vets hand with her toenail!!

  8. I don't remember my cat ever hissing or trying to bite the vet, but he did try to hide. Shiver tries to bite anyone who trims his nails. We usually do that at the groomer's and it's always embarrassing because he acts so naughty.

  9. Matilda, you're just like me at the vet. I go wild and they can hardly exam me. Now the lady with the yellow hair makes sure when she makes my appt, it's at a time that I won't have to wait long in the waiting room. The less time I'm there, the better. ~Zoey

    1. Mommy nose her vet real good and she said next time no one is too take me out of the crate but her. Cause hers can examine me while she weighs me in those 1.5 seconds and get my shots in before I go all cray cray ;)

  10. poor Matilda!! My Bobo never hissed (and Cody doesn't either), but Cody will do tiny little growls. It's normal.......they don't like the Vet!
