It’s been two years since sisfur went to da bridge..
And Mama still cries not sure it will efur get easier buts Mama nose dat her is happy and running free of pain and swimming in all da pools! I bets her greets all da newbies at da bridge and shows them around!

3 days late…
Even though it are a bazillion degrees here in FL we has da Fall leaves cause of big ole Irma.
You can finds them on every corner in front of every yard.
Mama says one day the yard trash men will pick them up. In the mean time if ya need firewood FL is where it’s at!!
Even Angel Ginger has some leaves are her grave.

Sorry we has not updated da blog buts it’s been a ruff week.
Irma was a beast and it gots pretty scary in our neck of da woods.
Tilda was cool as a cucumber while I was freaking the fluff out!!
A big oak tree fell in our yard at about 1 am during da storm and missed our house by a couple feet thank the good Lord cause dat was brudder’s room it would has hit. It fell purrfect and didn’t hit da swing or da fire pit. Angel Ginger & da good Lord was looking out fur us fur sure!!!
We also had some fence post bite da dust and some shingles flew away. Mama says some are still on da neighbors roof.
And we lost da power as did efurybody in FL buts we only lost it fur 2 days. We has a generator so Daddy hooked our frigerator and some fans up so we were nice and cool even though it was super dark at night.
Mama even had to make her coffee & food on dis thingmabob...Good thing her was a girl scout & was also in da 4-H!
I has been helping Mama, Daddy & Brudder clean up and Brudder has gone to help others clean up too wif da church.
I also has been going on lots of walks cause our fence is down and when I get my leash on to go potty I expects a walk as well. BOL I are a tad rotten Mama says.
Mama still can’t believe wif dat big ole tree coming down and all da limbs and sticks flying around dat Ginger’s stick cross on her grave barely moved. (Left is befur da storm & right is after.)
We were lucky ya’ll cause our community around us got flooded. We live in the high & dry area of our county buts most others live near da creeks and rivers and they got record floods not seen in the past 100 years. So pawlease say lots of pawrayers fur them as they pick up the pieces and begin gutting their homes and rebuilding. Here are some video just to show you how bads it was.
He has lots of video on his youtube channel & FB. It is so so sad.
Also both of our area animal shelters were flooded and had to be evacuated. All the animals are safe buts they lost lots of supplies & foodables.

Mama has been missing Sisser Ginger somefing bad lately!!
The udder day her had just gone out to visit sisser’s grave wif me to clean off any debris and was heading back in da house and somefing started singing to us.
We looked up in da tree and looky what came to visit us in da yard!

Dis are a throwback to when I furst came to live wif my pawrents, brudder and fur siblings. The whole story is here.
I think I have gained some lbs from all the yummy foodables they give me.
My furst meeting wif Angel Sisser Ginger was thru the window. We chatted about how we would try to be best buddies and how Ginger would not be sharing her toys wif me dat I had to get my own and stuffs. BOL BOL
Eventually Daddy let us meet face to face and we were on our bestest behavior. We had some bouts of yelling at each other but fur the most part we were bestest siblings!

It has been one year today that my baby girl crossed over the bridge and I still miss her just as much today as I did a year ago.
It truly does not even feel like a year has gone by.
There were a lot of tears over the holidays especially Christmas morning cause it just wasn’t the same without her rummaging through her stocking before anyone was up yet. She loved her some Santa Paws goodies!!
I wish I could say it gets easier but at this point it is still hard for me.
Today I will allow myself more tears but then I am going to try to remember all the happy funny things she used to do and smile or laugh instead of cry.
I want to say thank you again for all my blogging friends who sent cards or emails last year and to those that left words of encouragement here. You are all awesome!!!

Sawry we was absent from the bloggy last week. Angel Ginger’s barkday was on the 6th and Momma was a little lots sad.
It’s hard though beclaws human brudders birthday is the 7th so Momma was torn between being all sads and all happys. So hers allowed fur the sadness but then quickly put on her big girl britches fur some celebrating.
Brudder wanted to go his favorite museum for his birthday.
Then we had yummy cake.
And cans you believe it brudder got two parties so he got two cakes..him is so lucky!
We also had yummy pizza. Me and Tilda were living it up I tell ya!
Mom still gets a little teary about sisser Ginger buts I sits wif her and comforts her.
Don’t tells Daddy though cause I’s nots allowed on the couch. BOL
